WHO IS A EUROPEAN?
Defining who is a European can be a complex and multi-faceted question. From a geographical perspective, a European is someone who originates from the continent of Europe or holds citizenship in a European country.
However, this definition does not necessarily capture the cultural, linguistic, or historical aspects of being European. Many consider Europe to be a diverse region with various distinct cultures, languages, and identities. As such, someone who identifies as European may do so based on shared cultural values, traditions, and history.
Additionally, being European may also be linked to political and economic affiliations, such as being a member of the European Union. Ultimately, who is considered a European can depend on a variety of factors, including geography, culture, language, history, politics, and more. Nevertheless, being European can provide a sense of shared identity and belonging for those who choose to identify as such.
Our groups discussed who is a European, what values this person has and how those values are formed. Different oppinions and thoughts came to a great synergy, which the participants shaped in the MOODBOARDS.
They created Moodbords in Canva. A Moodboard is a type of visual presentation or 'collage' consisting of images, text, and samples of objects in a composition. It can be based on a set topic or can be any material chosen at random. A mood board can be used to convey a general idea or feeling about a particular topic. They may be physical or digital, and can be effective presentation tools.

Sustainable development goals

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of 17 interconnected global goals established by the United Nations (UN) in 2015. They were created to provide a framework for sustainable development efforts worldwide and to address the most pressing social, economic, and environmental issues facing the planet. The 17 goals are the wide range of issues such as poverty, hunger, health, education, gender equality, clean water and sanitation, renewable energy, economic growth, decent work, and reducing inequalities.
What we, young people, can do for SDGs?
1. We can raise awareness about the SDGs in our communities and social networks through sharing information on social media, organizing events, and engaging in conversations with friends and family.
2. We can advocate for policies and practices that support with the SDGs through contacting elected officials, participating in demonstrations, and joining campaigns and petitions.
3. We can lead by example by adopting sustainable practices in their own lives via reducing waste, conserving energy, and supporting sustainable products and services.
4. We can volunteer with organizations working towards the SDGs. We are able to participate in community service projects, volunteer with local NGOs, and support global initiatives.
5. We also can innovate by developing new solutions and technologies to address challenges related to the SDGs, creating new products or services, developing new apps or software, and participating in hackathons and innovation challenges.
6. And for sure, we can collaborate with others to achieve the SDGs, such as youth organizations, local businesses and NGOs, and joining global networks.
By taking action in our own lives and communities, advocating for change, and collaborating with others, we can help create a more sustainable and equitable future for all.
